Hi,

Need help on this printer.
Always displays the said prompt when printing. All ink cartridges are already replaced with new ones, but still the error came, it sometimes displays that a particular color or two is/are missing, and sometimes all colors. Have already removed the printhead and cleaned but the error still appeared. Im just what needs replacement, the printhead or the carriage. Does anyone have a service manual for this in case the carriage needs to be replaced?

I understand that you get an error message "Ink cartridge is missing or not detected" on your HP OfficeJet 7612 Wide Format e-All-in-One.

 

This issue could occur if the cartridge contacts or the printhead contacts are not clean.

Hi Rainbow23,

I already tried all the steps from the link, like i said i already replaced all the cartridges with new ones and the same problem occured. And so i went into cleaning the printhead but then same problem, that's why my question is any idea if the problem is on the printhead or on the carriage assembly. And if the carriage needs replacement, i need the service manual or just the steps on how to replace the carriage assembly.

I understand that the issue still persists after following the steps provided in the previous interaction.

 

This could be an issue with the printhead which is not replaceable for this printer model. Hence you may need to replace the unit.
