Laser Jet Pro M452dn

I purchased my computer last August.   I loved it until the Magenta cartridge ran out of ink.  I bought a new Magenta cartridge to replace.  However, the printer did not register that I put a new cartridge in and it still read that the cartridge is empty.  Not knowing if it was the cartridge, I bought another magenta cartridge.  When I put the 2nd new magenta in the printer it still tells me the cartridge is empty.

Please note that I have changed the black and yellow cartridges and have not experienced this problem.

Can anyone please help me?!?  PLEASE

Hi Explorer36,

Try taking one of the new magenta cartridges and putting it in the slot of either yellow or cyan. You should see a message about incorrect supply if it is able to read the chip on the cartridge. Once you have done that put the cartridges back in the correct slots in the toner tray and then close the door. I'm hoping it will trigger the printer to read the magenta cartridge correctly.

Best regards
