Hi,

Windows 10 hides MANY icons on desktop and in many cases it does not show Scan icon any where. Please try:

(a) Hit Windows key (to list all apps),

(b) Scroll down to HP and expand it,

(c)  Right click "HP Scan extended" and Pin to desktop (click more to pin to Taskbar),

           scan_ex.png

Note: You may not see HP Scan Extend, you can pin your printer to Taskbar. You can also install the following package to get HP Scan Extended.

           ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

Regards.

To add, for the M1136 you may find the Scan To application within the HP folder, not th eHP Scan Extended.

You may also install HP Scan Extended which provide more control while scanning..
