Hi @JCM4, I am the MrRobot. It looks like you were interacting with @Sizzlingsum_13, but she is out of the office today so I'll take over from here.

Thanks for trying out the steps.

I understand you don't see an option of scan to PDF on your printer.

Please try the steps recommended below.

Load the original on the scanner glass or automatic document feeder (ADF).
Turn on the printer.
Load the photo or document:
Scanner glass: Load the original with the print side down on the scanner glass, and then position it according to the engraved guides around the glass. Close the scanner lid.
ADF: Load the original into the ADF. The print side faces up and the top edge goes into the tray first. Adjust the paper width guides to fit the original.
Do not load photos in the ADF. To prevent damage to photos, load pictures on the scanner glass.
Scan your document or photo, and then save your scan using one of the several options.
From the home screen on the printer control panel, touch Scan, and then touch Computer.
Touch the name of the computer that you want to save the scan to.
Touch Scan Shortcut and then select a shortcut that corresponds to the document or photo you are scanning.
Save as PDF: Use this setting to scan text documents that you cannot edit in a word processing program.
If you are scanning a double-sided original from the ADF, touch Original 2-Sided.
Touch Start Scan.
The printer scans the document or image and saves the file to the destination specified in the settings. If you scanned to an email client, the email client opens with the scan attached. If you saved to the computer, the file location of the scan opens.

Refer this document to further know how to setup up Scanning From the Control Panel.

Let me know if this helps!

Have a wonderful day ahead! 🙂
