Had I known that you cannot scan to a computer, I would not have purchased your DUMB product.

Not an acceptable answer. I am sure that you are protecting your profits by making this an expensive add on to another model BUT THIS IS NOW A STANDARD FEATURE.... WHY WOULD I NOT BUY MY CLIENTS CHEAPER 8600s ????? THIS PRINTER IS WORTHLESS!

Scan from the printer to the computer has never been a feature on consumer laserjet products. This feature is found in the Photosmart, Officejet product lines.

  • i have a problem with my hp laserjet cm1415fn to scan document. my os is Windows 7 professional and that printer is connected to the LAN, I can print without any problem, but scanning is now a problem, I am getting an error message saying that ''The printer is not connected or there is a problem with my network" while i can still printing documents.

Is there anybody who can help me to solve this?

P.S: The scanner was working before, but i dont know what happend. HELP ME TO FIX THIS
