DesingnJet T1200 HD

Going to replace the scanner lamp Q1277-60013 in a DJ T1200 HD. Will the messages to replace lamp & filters go away automatically or do I need to manually reset counter, etc?

Also when scanning there is a blue background. Will new lamp and calibration solve this issue?

Thanks in advance

Myself replaced lamps of the DJ4200, DJ4500, T1100 & never pay attention or never did reset counter.

After lamp replaced & I did full calibration successfully & scanning perfectly. all colors were perfect.

Let me tell you my hidden secret which I never post on this board , no need to spend few hundred $$$ to buy the lamp  ( Ebay someone selling over $300 )

& myself bought them in Lowes for about $10 for 2 packs, same size & daylight. working exactly like the factory lamp.

I still keeping the original dim lamps.

Good luck.

Hi,

On the cartridge were the lamp is installed there is a sensor with a smal PCA.

The PCA tells the scanner that a new lamp is been installed and the could should reset. Sometimes this does not happen and yes, you can reset the counter maually.

The sensor on the cartridge is to check the brightness of the lamp.

When you do the maintenance calibration the scanner will adjust the intensity of the light for you to get a nice image.

If the sensor is bad this adjustment will not be done causing the images too light or too dark.

Or, You can also come across with a problem like is the following post
