see whats printing

I've just installed hp officejet pro 8600 however on the hp printer assistant i can't see any print jobs displayed, the window pops up but it is always blank. My main requirement is to be able to cancel print jobs easily, unless there is a cancel button i haven't yet found on the actual printer/

Select Control Panel

Select Hardware And Sound

Select View Devices And Printers

Double Click The Default Printer (8600)

Right Click On 'See What Is Printing'

Click On Create Shortcut

Select 'YES'  to question.
