The download for the 2840 All-In-One printer doesn't include the "Solution Center".  Is it available for this model?

Hi @PeaceChurch ,

I see by your post that you don't have the HP Solution Center Software when installing the printer on Windows 8.1.
I'd like to help you.

What is the full name and product number of your printer? How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?

Have a great day!
Thank You.

Thanks for providing the model number PeaceChurch.

I actually support consumer products. But I will still try and find some drivers for you for your commercial Laserjet 2840..

Here is a driver for Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit) Downloads.

There is a separate board though for commercial products, that you are welcome to check out in the future.

Hope this helps.

Have a nice day!
Thank You.

Thank you for the reply.  That is the driver I already hve downloaded that didn't have the HPSolution Center included.  Is there some other way to tell toner levels in the cartridges that I'm just not seeing?

Hi PeaceChurch,

Sorry to hear that driver didn't include the HP Solution Center Software.

You can print a Supplies Status page from the printer to get the supply levels.

On the control panel menu, press MENU.
Use the < or the > button to select Reports, and then press ENTER
ENWW Information pages 179
Use the < or the > button to select Supplies Status, and then press ENTER.

If the printer is networked, you should be able to view the supplies from the printer's Embedded Web Server.

Just type in the printer's IPv4 in a address bar of your web browser.

Print a Configuration Report to get the IPv4 address.

On the control panel menu, press MENU.
Use the < or the > button to select Reports, and then press ENTER.

Use the < or the > button to select Config report, and then press ENTER.

Here is the manual with the information that was provided by. HP Color LaserJet 2820/2830/2840 User Guide.

Hope that helps you out.

Thank You.
