When I do a test print I only get black, no colors.  I have done many cleanings and the monitor shows plenty of ink in cartridge.  Also when trying to print from my phone it says on there black and white, but when I go to my desk top and go into settings it says color allowed.  How do I get the color turned on?

Hi! @desmith27, Welcome to HP forums.

I understand when you print a test page it only prints black but will not print color.

Don't worry I will try to help you out.

Did you make any changes to your printer?

Please try the steps recommended below.

Print a Print Quality Diagnostic report, and then evaluate the results.
Load plain white paper in the paper tray.
On the printer control panel, touch the Settings icon, and then touch Tools.
The Tools Menu displays.
Touch Print Quality Report.
The printer prints the Print Quality Diagnostic report.

Refer this article to further troubleshoot Color or Black Ink Not Printing.

Hope to hear from you soon!

Have a wonderful day ahead! 🙂
