I cannot get windows 10 to install my HP laser jet 4100 printer. IT shows up on the printer device list, but shows there is no driver for it. I know it's an old printer, but we have been using it at my church and don't want to replace it. It still works great.
I upgraded to windows 10 yesterday and dont want to have to get a new printer.

Fortunately, this model appears to be compatible to Windows 10, according to this guide: LINK
HP's most recommended solution for installing this model to your computer is by using the HP Universal Print Driver, which you can get here: LINK
Please let me know if you have any questions while using this program. Good luck!

When does 10 has been giving many people headaches when attempting to print using a parallel port.
The solution seems to be to go into device manager and find your LPT port and edit the properties and set it to use any requested interrupt.
I have never done this personally but I have read of many people solving their issues this way.
