Pavillion p7-1120

Google Chrome closes abruptly when I try to print a PDF document  - i.e. as soon as I get to the 'print' menu, the browser shuts down and  the PDF document (unsaved) never gets printed. This just started happening the morning of Oct 7 2019.

Before today, I was able to print any unsaved PDF document without any difficulty.  I don't believe I inadvertently changed any settings but I am not smart enough when it comes to computers to figure out what has gone wrong. I have a Desktop computer (HP Pavillion p7-1120), I am using Windows 10 and my printer is an HP Office Jet 6962.

Any help or suggestions anyone is able to offer would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks kindly.
