Hi @Liza21,

Thank you for showing your interest in HP Support Forums. It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts, and other support personnel. For you to have the best experience on the HP forum, you could also visit our HP Forums Guide for the First Time Here? As I understand you would like to know how to update the HID (Human Interface Devices) on your HP PC. Don't worry as I have a few steps to help you get through this concern,

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

What is the product number of this computer? (Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc...) http://hp.care/2bygf7l

What seems to be an issue with the PC?

Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting this on HP Forums?

In the meantime, let's try these steps here:

Launch Device manager - Right on HID Devices - scroll down to properties - Click on Update drivers.

If you want you could also try these steps here:

Launch Device manager - Uninstall all the devices listed under the HID and then click on Scan for hardware changes.

Next thing, you could try here is to update using Updating Drivers and Software with Windows Update (Windows 7, Vista, XP)

I hope this helps. Let me know how it goes for further assistance.

Eagerly waiting for your response!

I hope you have a good day ahead,

And Feel free to ask your queries as this forum has some of the best people in the world available and ready to help.

Regards,
