Hello @htedwilliams ,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Here's what you need to do:
- Uninstall HP printer software, and then remove the printer from your Devices list.
So all HP printer software must be uninstalled! - Restart the PC
- Close all programs
- download only this complete package: HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide Format All-in-One Print and Scan Driver and Accessories
Operating Systems: Windows 11
Release date: Mar 14, 2022
File name: Full_Webpack-40.16.1234-OJ7740_Full_Webpack.exe (158.0 MB) - Close all programs
- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo > in folder Downloads double-click on the Full_Webpack-40.16.1234-OJ7740_Full_Webpack.exe,
- The installation was completed successfully, now you must ...
- Restart the System again
- Now the installation is complete.
Document error messages accurately, even better is to take a screenshot of it and upload here.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
