Bought theis printer about 6 months ago.  Had it installed by a computer repairman and it worked at his place but not at home.  He made a housecall and suggested I make sure the printer is on before turning on laptop.  Still doesnt work and I have printed over 100 test pages but no connection.  It shows a question mark to the left of the touch screen and I have no idea what it mean or how to get rid of it.  Help please.  If I had kept the receipt, it would have gone back.  Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

Can you download and install the FULL feature printer software from HP for your operating system:

The following resource will help you :

http://123.hp.com/us/en/

Key in your printer model, Operating System and download & install the FULL feature software.

Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.

The ? at the printer is just a "Help" for onscreen support. Nothing to be worried about.

Hope that helps.

I am an HP Employee. Although I am speaking for myself and not for HP.
