I will do my best to help you with the error message but, from what I can tell, it is a hardware failure. Does the printer function at all? Can you scan or copy or print?
If contacting HP Support (click here to find one in your region) is not an option, here is a link to a external website that discusses how to phsycially fix this problem. I am not respsonsible if you do decide to take apart your printer, but please answer the questions above for me to see if I can offer a better suggestion.
As you can see in the products' description of error messages, it states, "The product has experienced a fatal error from which it cannot recover." Suggestions to fix it are:
- Turn off the product or disconnect the power cord from the product.
- Wait 30 seconds, and then turn on the product or reconnect the power cord to the product.
- Wait for the product to initialize.
- If the error persists, contact HP customer support."
I hope this helps!

Here is a link to the only fix I know of. This is a hardware failure so you will likely have to contact HP from what I understand. Good luck!
