Hi @catst
Welcome to the HP Forums!
I appreciate you taking the time to share your concern and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers.
I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to know the username and password for family search.
I’d love to help!
In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details and I would appreciate if you could, perhaps elaborate on your concern.
- What password are you referring to?
- Where are you getting this password prompt?
- What exactly are you trying to do on the printer?
Looking forward to your reply and you have a good day ahead.
Take care!
Cheers!

Hello, @catst
I see that you were interacting with @The_Fossette. I'd like to help 🙂
I am not sure about the password required for the family search app. Have you assigned any password for this app in the past? Let me know!
Alternatively, disable and then enable the web-services on the printer and then try to access the app again. Here are the steps to disable the web services: http://hp.care/2q1GQeu Simply reverse the steps to enable the web-services.
Furthermore, try accessing the app through your HP connected account through your PC:
-
Sign in to your HP Connected account.
The My Printers tab opens.
-
Click the Printer Apps tab.
A list of printer apps supported by your printer displays.
-
Select the Family search app and check.
Let me know if these steps help!
Cheers 🙂
