I have 7525 printer, I would like to know if you place the document face up or down on the faxing tray

From your User Guide, Page 25:
To send a standard fax from the printer control panel
- Load your original print-side down in the right-front corner of the glass or print-side up in the Automatic Document Feeder.
- Touch Fax.
- Enter the fax number by using the keypad.

You are welcome.
I am not sure why you cannot access the User Guide. It might have something to do with your location -- there may be some sort of server glitch.
I have made it available with Dragon files:
