Need to update my HP printer. New router wants to use the newer wpa-psk(aes), want to buy HP that has same. Do not see this info on any of the descriptions of the newer printers. Help.

Hello, and Welcome to the HP Support Community!
wpa-psk (either AES or TKIP) is pretty standard these days. Looking at my year-old OfficeJet 8600 Pro, it easily supports this method and is the way I have it connected to my home network.
We just installed a newer 8610 at the office, and it had no problems with the wpa/wpa2 encryption scheme either!
I believe you will be safe with any present-day HP printer that offers wireless connectivity. 🙂

Thanks your answer was righ on! I bought the Envy 7640, the e-print feature works great and it had no problem using the newer WPA2-PSK security that my new router demands one to use. Was the easiest set up ever, just used the one touch connect! Wow, thanks.
