No error messages, and other usb devices working fine. Only thing that is strange is in the device manager it says no drivers for this device, but in another area of the device manager it says all drivers for this device are up to date.

Have you tried to manually add the printer?

Yes, I just tried that. Still nothing. Guess I'll just have to throw out this printer.

Load the basic XP printer driver under Vista and run setup in Compability Mode for XP SP2.

Loaded the basic, but could not get the compatability mode to run.

This issue is still going on. Everything that was suggested did not work. This issue will be resolved tomorrow. The trash man comes and I will put a good printer in the trash.
