My printer prints photo size prints instead of letter size and i cant figure it out. What can i do? I have looked to find a command on it that allows me to change paper sizes and can't find it either.  Am I just dumb?

Likely not dumb.  Smiling.

Maybe just looking in the wrong spot for the elusive Size setting?

The "little paper" setting might be left over from a previous job.

If you are using a recent version of Windows, the following might be helpful:

Know that Size can be set in Printing Preferences.

Scale is the size of the output, that is, the size of the fonts (printed text) and the overall size of the image or document as it will appear on the paper.  For example:  Scale might be set to "Actual",(100%) or scale might be set to "Shrink to fit" so each page of the document is "fitted" onto your selected paper.

The (selected) size of the paper makes a difference.   If the printer is set to print on 4X6 paper, then everything will come out pretty small so it can fit on a 4X6" bit of paper.

Access the preferences in a couple of ways, one of which is through Control Panel > icon view > Devices and Printers

Printing Preferences

The program are you using to send the print job to the printer provides access to the various settings:  Paper Size, Media type (kind of paper), margins, scale (size of print), and others.

Most browsers, document editors, document reader programs, and photo printing programs provide some form of "Print Preview" where you can select your settings for the print job.
