you froze firefox HP, code wrong

Hello, tried to print a pic from internet, a register your printer box opened, ok, entered name email etc. it said check email for code, firefox was froze, control alt delete closed, restarted firefox, got email entered code HDK3, says wrong code, try to look at email again, firefox froze, restart firefox get email, I entered code correct the first time it doesnt work. Ive been using this printer for years without issue, what is the correct code? Why does the regisration freeze firefox, no other registations freeze firefox. 30 minutes totally wasted so far,

I understand that you are unable to print from the internet using firefox browser.

This issue could occur if it is not compatible with that particular browser.

Please try using google chrome and check.cannot print from firefox

Hello, thanks for the reply, the usb cable got knocked loose so when I tried to print something this came up,  http://s1368.photobucket.com/user/chris221/media/IMG_20170323_205247336_zpstmaifvdz.jpg.html?sort=3&... ,I thought it wanted me to register the printer so I attemted to fill it out then the the firefox freezing happened 2 times and I gave up, anyway all is working now but I'm still confused as to why firefox froze as I was regestering.
