z3200

Hello all-
My z3200 starts initializing then stops to report all 6 printheads are missing (with all 6 blinking). False, all six are installed.  At this point I discovered that for some quirky reason, if I pulled out the E-G printhead and pushed it back in, the initializing continues seemingly back on track, 'preparing print system' and smoothly counting down from 23 mins.

Until at 19:38, at which point it begins canceling the whole procedure- eventually it finally ends with a front panel report stating the 'LM ink cartridge needs replacing'- again False, it does not, it is an almost-full 130ml OEM.

Here's maybe an important clue. When I do a carriage assembly test, it stops with an 'error 58:11 FAIL DeltaE out of limits 92.000 >8', which I've learned is something to ignore because it is a common bug. However it prevents the carriage test from continuing on to completion. The printheads don't get the 'remove/replace' test - the crucial status report of the printheads('pens') is denied as is the right/left encoder strip 'difference' report- it's stopped short of both these results.
The pens report sounds quite likely critical.

The encoder strip though I don't know - could it also possibly be included as affecting the falsely reported 'missing printheads' and falsely reported 'LM needing replacement'? I mean how interconnected is this digital/mechanical organism?
So I'm at a loss here wondering if anybody has some experience with this or even a similar problem?
Maybe we can add up a diagnosis.
Thank you-
