Printer is coming up with an error, " There is a problem with the printhead ".

Have tried 4 new cartridges, tried removing then cleaning printhead but same error message.

Brought new printhead and replaced but still getting the same error message, " There is a problem with the printhead "

 

Is there a fix for this problem or is this software obsolescence to force the customer to buy a new printer......

Very disappointed as the printer hasn't had much use and always used genuine cartridges.

Hi,

Please try resetting the printer as instructed first, then try updating the printer firmware from your computer if possible.

 

Next, try re-seating the print-head and check if that may make any difference.

 

If any of does does not help, you would need to service or replace the printer as this is likely an hardware failure.
