Hi,
I can’t find the access to reset the belt counters and fusion unit in the menu of my HP Color Laser MFP 178nw
and delete the messages "prepare a new transfer belt" and "prepare a fuser unit soon" that block my printer.
Can you please help me?

Did you replace the components already and the counters did not reset or are you trying to extend the life of existing supplies? I ask because some products rely on a fusible link in the new supply to reset the counter and a manual reset is not an option. There is no reset instructions in either the technicians troubleshooting guide or the repair manual.

Interesting they make no mention of that in service documentation. Or perhaps there is some secret keyword to search for that would give me that info.

@Repairatrooper it's not in HP documentation, the steps are the same as for Samsung printers ( before Samsung became HP )

You may need a diagnostics software to do this. Not sure if this link will work or not but something to try
