macOS 11.0 Big Sur

My Envy 6400 Series will not print in color. I've updated the software and firmware. There is ink in the printer. Now, when I try to print word docs, the print preview is blank.

Help? Had HP printers for decades, never had this issue.

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that your printer is not printing in color, I am glad to assist you.

Did you make a copy and check if that prints fine?

Meanwhile:-

Print a Print Quality Diagnostic report

Print a Print Quality Diagnostic report from HP Smart, and then evaluate the results.

  1. Make sure your device is on the same wireless network as your printer.

  2. Open HP Smart, and then select your printer, if it is not already selected.

  3. Under Tools, click Printer Reports.

  4. Next to Print Quality Report, click Print.

Let me know how it prints fi further assistance.

If this helps, please mark the public post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several other
