HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e All-in-One Printer
macOS 12.0 Monterey

I printed out a page, started to print a new print job and suddenly the printer stopped working.  I received a Printer Failure message on the front display panel of the printer, saying "there is a problem with the printer or print system."  I turned the printer Off, then on as instructed.  I've rebooted the computer, reset the router and the printer is active and visible from my System Preferences, Printers and Scanners.  However, I can't clear the Printer Failure message.  I've been waiting for a chat tech for over an hour to get some resolution.  This printer is less than 3 months old.  Extremely frustrated.

Does the same happen with copies too from the feeder?

 

Let's try to reset the Printer here:

 

Reset the product

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

Also, try connecting the Printer to a different wall outlet directly.
