A peculiar problem. Recently when I download and open a PDF File and go to print it always prints in Landscape despite the settings are for Portrait. However, if I save the PDF to a file olcation and then right click on the file icon and select "print" it prints in Portrait. I have tried re installing the drivers, but to no avail. Does anybody have any ideas? Thanks Taffy Pete

How are you printing the documents from Acrobat or from a browser? Sounds like the original document was saved as landscape and depending on your program settings those settings might take precedence. It may not be a printer problem at all.

Hi, Thanks for your reply. When it prints in Landscape I am printing from Adobe Reader. The PDF is showing as in Portrait format. When I save the file to a folder then right click on the icon in the folder and select print it prints in portrait.

Hi, Thanks for your reply. I have tried printing from within Adobe Reader. I check the settings in the print box and they are set for Portrait. However, when I press the Print button it justnprints in Landscape. If I save the pdf to a folder and then i right click on the pdf icon it prints in Portrait.
When in Adobe I tried to find settings for oritention, but could not find any. I check the orintation in the print menu and it shows Portrait. However, it always prints in Landscape.
I guess I will just have to print from the icon in a folder in future.
Thanks for your help anyway.
Regards
Peter
