Printer queue issue not fixed

HP Recommended
HP OfficeJet Pro 9015
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am not able to print from either the program I am using (Adobe Acrobat) or from inside HP Smart.  The diagnosis and fix results say the printer is online but ``Print Queue issue is not fixed''  Print jobs are just sitting in the queue.

After a print job has been submitted, it is very quickly turned over the Windows Print Services for completion.

When something is "stuck in the queue", it is sometimes due to Print Services having hung, become stuck, or otherwise failing to properly complete the job.

Print Queue / Print Service Reset

Print and Scan Doctor

The Doctor can help with several issues, including driver, connection, and "jobs stuck in the queue".

HP Print and Scan Doctor for Windows

and / or

If the current print job will not cancel or if a previous print job is stuck in the queue,

and

If the issue is due to Print Services being stuck / hung / corrupted, Restart the Print Service

Manual Queue Reset

Control Panel > icon view > Administrative Tools > Services

Scroll down, find, Right-Click, and Stop Print Spooler Service

Open File Explorer (formally Windows Explorer)

Navigate to the folder and Delete the files from folder C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS

Start Print Spooler Service

It turns out the issue was software, but it required me to update the bios on my machine.  Once I did that and rebotted, I seemed to be in good shape.
