Hi@Janw7,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing Wi-Fi issues with the HP Officejet 4650 Printer.

  • Make sure the printer and the computer are connected to the same wireless network.
  • This printer supports only 2.4GHz network. Make sure the printer and the computer is on the 2.4GHz network.

Step 1: On the printer screen, Go to Setup > network > Restore network settings

Step 2: Restart the network devices

  1. Turn off the Router, Printer, and the computer.
  2. Wait for 60 seconds.
  3. Turn on the Router first and wait for all the lights to stabilize.
  4. Turn on the printer and allow it to configure itself.
  5. Turn on the computer.

Step 3: Connect to the wireless network

  1. On the printer control panel, touch the Wireless icon .

    The Wireless screen displays.

  2. Touch the Settings icon .

  3. Touch Wireless Setup Wizard, then follow the instructions on the control panel to connect the printer to your wireless network.

Step 4: Download and install the printer software

Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
