Samsung SCX-4623

I have a Samsung SCX-4623 printer/fax. Apparently HP has become the support community. For some reason, when I provide the serial number HP doesn't accept it. So I can't query HP support.

The printer has a document feeder at the top for feeding multiple documents. It keeps jamming so I have to open the top and place each document on the copier screen manually.

How can I properly register the product with HP Support?

I need to correct the document feeder jam.  JC

if paper tries to feed and does not do so successfully then likely something is blocking the feed path. I have found everything from ballpoint pens to paper clips stuck in ADF feeders. You best option would be to find a piece of stiffer card stock and use it to floss the paper path to remove any obstructions. Also try cleaning the rollers with a water dampened lint free cloth and then drying them. If the device is outside warranty, support services are billable. If the device is very old it is possible that older serial number data was not transferred to HP.
