Ghosted images are usually caused by a fuser issue. Media that is too heavy can result in bonding issues because the fuser cannot heat the paper enough. If you are getting ghosting on even plain paper, your fuser may simply be failing, or the outlet you are plugged into is not supplying enough power, common in home environments where a large power draw appliance like a heater gets plugged into the same circuit.
