Dear Sir , 

   I'm trying to install a new HD to an HP 82540 printer , but I'm getting a message "HD not supported . The printer is no longer supported and  Im using a regular HD . Is there any way to solve my problem , installing as i said an ordinary HD  , with the rigth firmware to keep my job running ? I will appreciate any answer

The 82540 requires a self-encrypting (SED) hard drive. Must be an old school spinning drive, no SSD support is available. Both Toshiba and Seagate make supported drives.
