Hello,

I'm having trouble with our Samsung X7400LX printer. When I turn it on, it stays stuck on "Loading" above the menu on the touchscreen, and I can't access the icons. I also can't access it through the web interface (I only get "Loading… SyncThru Web Service").

I wanted to reset it, but I can't find the files requested in the documentation (HDD image file and two Unix files)... I need some help with this.

Thank you in advance.

Hello,

I managed to replace the hard drive and reset the system (I found the file in a thread on this forum... I find it absurd that these files aren't accessible on the machine's support page...).

So:

* I reinstalled the system using an EHD file (USB hard drive initialization).
* After the reinstallation, the machine worked perfectly for about two days.
* Then, for no apparent reason, the printer returned to the same state: stuck on "Loading..." at startup, with no access to the user interface.
* The problem is therefore recurring despite a new hard drive and a fresh system image.

I'm trying to understand what could be corrupting the system again after a few days. Does this indicate a known hardware failure on the X7400LX (main controller board, SATA controller issues, power supply instability, etc.)?

Is there anything else I can check before replacing any hardware components?

Any further help or diagnostic suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you.

I could not find any documented known issues. The question I have is what type of drive did you use when you replaced it? These systems typically are designed to support standard spinning harddrives support for solid state drives is so-so or non-existant.
