Hi @Aschehda,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It seems like you're encountering an issue related to the print spooler on your Samsung A13 when trying to print to your HP LaserJet Pro M148fdw. The print spooler is a service in Windows that manages the printing tasks, and it's unusual to receive such a message on a mobile device like the Samsung A13.

Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

Restart Your Samsung A13:

  • Simply restarting your phone might help in resolving temporary glitches.

Check Print Spooler on the HP Printer:

  • Make sure the HP LaserJet Pro M148fdw has enough paper, toner, and is in a ready state.
  • If possible, restart the printer.

Clear Print Spooler Data on Samsung A13:

  • Go to Settings on your Samsung A13.
  • Navigate to "Apps" or "Application Manager."
  • Find and select "Samsung Notes."
  • Tap on "Storage" and then "Clear Data" or "Clear Cache."

Check Printer Connectivity:

  • Ensure that your Samsung A13 is connected to the same network as your HP printer.
  • Confirm that the HP printer supports mobile printing and that it's properly set up for mobile printing.

Update Printer Firmware and Samsung Notes:

  • Check for any available firmware updates for your HP LaserJet Pro M148fdw. You can usually find this information on the HP support website.
  • Make sure your Samsung Notes app is up to date. Visit the Google Play Store, go to "My apps & games," and update Samsung Notes if needed.

Reinstall Printer:

  • Remove the HP printer from your Samsung A13's list of printers.
  • Reinstall the printer by going to Settings > Connections > More connection settings > Printing > Printers > Add printer.

Print a Test Page:

  • Check if you can print a test page from another app or file on your Samsung A13 to verify if the issue is specific to Samsung Notes.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Thanks for your suggestions.

What I ended up doing was the old "unplug the printer " for 60 seconds trick.

Everything works as it should now.

Thanks,
