Samsung SL-M2885FW
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've been using my Samsung SL-M2885FW printer via a USB cable connected to my PC for some time.

I would like to be able to print to it wirelessly from my laptop - but without changing the way I use it from my PC.

I have looked at the instructions but it appears that it's an either or - USB or wireless - but not both.

Is that correct?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Question: is your desktop computer connected via a wired ethernet? If so, you could connect the printer to the network rather than USB and your laptop will find the printer assuming that your wireless is on the same network as your wired connections, which in most home setups it is. You would change your desktop to print to the printer via wired ethernet (TCP/IP) port. If you only have one network cable where the printer and computer are, purchase a small 5 port ethernet switch so that the printer and pc can share the ethernet cable.
