Since your Samsung LaserJet printer is connected via USB but stops printing after a reboot, follow these detailed troubleshooting steps:

Restart the Print Spooler Service

  1. Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and hit Enter.
  2. Scroll down and find Print Spooler.
  3. Right-click and select Restart.
  4. Try printing again.

Check Printer Status

  1. Open Control PanelDevices and Printers.
  2. Right-click your Samsung printer → See what's printing.
  3. If there are stuck print jobs, click Printer (top-left) → Cancel All Documents.
  4. Try printing again.

Reinstall the Printer Driver

  1. Open Control PanelDevices and Printers.
  2. Right-click your Samsung printer → Remove Device.
  3. Unplug the USB cable from the printer.
  4. Restart the PC.
  5. Download and install the latest Samsung printer drivers from HP’s website.
  6. Reconnect the USB cable when prompted.

Check USB Port and Cable

  1. Try using a different USB port (preferably a direct port, not a hub).
  2. Ensure USB Selective Suspend is disabled:
    • Open Control PanelPower OptionsChange Plan Settings.
    • Click Change advanced power settings.
    • Expand USB settingsUSB selective suspendDisable it.
  3. Restart the computer and try printing.

Set the Printer as Default Go to Control PanelDevices and Printers.

  1. Right-click your Samsung printer → Set as default printer.
  2. Try printing a test page.

Test a Different PC or Laptop

  • Connect your printer to another computer and check if it prints.
  • If it prints fine, the issue is with your Windows settings.
  • If it still doesn't print, the printer hardware or firmware might be faulty.

If none of these step's work, let me know exactly where the issue occurs so I can assist further! 🚀
