Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have a Samsung SCX-4828FN printer, and over the past year when I switch it on it doesn't remember the date and time I set previously. I think there may be a battery that needs replacing in it, but I can't find anywhere on the Internet if this is what's needed and how to do it. Can anyone here provide any help and assistance please?

Kind regards,

Steve

I've faced same issue with my SCX-3405FW. I found backup battery placed into a battery holder soldered to the rear side of front control panel. Maybe even your MFC should have a backup battery placed somewhere in control panel PCB.

You can see more details about my issue, hoping it may help you.

The last Samsung that i repaired i found the battery on the formatter board on the side of the printer.Had to remove the paper tray to remove the front door. Then removed the back panel and  un clipped the side panel.Hope this will help.
