First of all I cannot add my printer to my profile, the serial number is rejected: [Personal Information Removed]
My problem:
I want to reset the network config from my printer because i cannot add it to my network.
I do not have a WPS router. And the fixed network is stuck at 192.0.0.192 and when I connect the port to a switch no network link is made. This although IP assignment is DHCP. And wireless is in Ad-Hoc mode with portthru as SSID.
I run SEPM 2.00.01.35

I've been busy the whole afternoon with this printer. I found a LinksysWRT54G2 V1 so I could find out that WPS does work, first with an open network, later with WPA2 active.
And I have been able once to use Easy Print Manager over the USB link. But then I did not find a tab to reset the network settings. Is that because the example is for an othter, maybe older, version of EPM?
I am afraid that the wired network connection is defective as I do not get a link on the same router that the WiFi is connected to.

Printer goes to the scrapheap. USB is also not working correctly. In the EPM there is a few moments the status Printer online and then it changes to Offline, check power and cables. And that repeats every 15 seconds.
Bummer, because the printer had only 5988 Impressions and 1436 scan counts and a toner at 85% and a spare one.
Installdate 2011-11-18.

In the service manual there are instructions for performing a full reset. My NDA with HP does not allow me to share that information but if you search you should be able to find a copy of the service manual online. Reset is done through tech mode.
