Samsung ProXpress C4062fx

I am trying to fix a Samsung ProXpress C4062fx for a customer. They brought it in because the hard drive was coming up as bad. So I replaced the hard drive and went to format it. It is asking for a password. I tried the password that the owners gave me, it didn't work. I tried the default password, it didn't work. I tried the default password for the old models. I tried variations of all of those, and the passwords that people seems to use along with variations. Nothing worked.

Is there some way I can reset this machine to factory without being able to get past the format screen?

Any ideas are welcome, and appreciated

You cannot simply replace the drive, there is a recovery process that must be followed to configure the new drive to work with the printer. That may or may not be the issue with the password. Thanks for the help so far, I hope you can answer one more question. It starts going thru the format but stops around 15 or 16% and goes into the loading message and sticks there. Anything else that I can do to get out of that?

Thanks again.

Never mind. The drive I tried installing must have been bad. I used another drive and it worked just fine. Thanks for your help.!
