I Replaced the original toner of Samsung SCX-3405fw with a new original one and the printer showed me "Not compatible Toner cartridge".
I went back to the seller to have it changed, and replaced with the new one, it worked for a couple of day, but suddenly it gave me the same error.
Because of the urgency, it was lent me a non-original toner, this worked, but the print quality was very bad.
Am I just out of luck (2 bad cartridge in a row) or is there something I can do to force the printer to accept the original toner?
Or is time to buy a new Printer?
I replaced the toner only once in printer lifetime, with no problems, this was the second time...

When you open and remove the cartridge, on the right hand side you should see 4 contacts (sort of bent springs) , unplug the power and try cleaning the 4 springs with a Q-tip slightly soaked in alcohol. Some times it helps
Just a electronics enthusiast trying to fix everything.
