Hi,
The Scan Assistant app is part of the Samsung Easy Printer Manager, which is supported on Mac OS 10.13 or earlier versions of the OS, it is not compatible with Mojave.
For Mac OS 10.14 install the scan drivers below
:
Now try scanning using the OS supplied applications such as Apple Image Capture or Preview.

Which application are you using?
You should use the Easy Document Creator application to scan from Mojave, not Samsung Scan Assistant:

Hello ShlomiL,
I loaded the new drivers from the link below but I still get the same error. It was also suggested that I try Easy Document Creator but I don't see one for Mac. I downloaded the Easy Document Creator but I think it is for Windows only?
Thanks for your help and God bless,
Eric G.

Hi,
there are no drivers available for Catalina at this time, AirPrint can be used for printing and check for any future updates in HP Support.
