Samsung printer m2020 continues to show out of paper error and will not print

Is this showing as out of paper on the computer or the indicators on the printer. I have seen cases where the printer has been setup using a WSD port and will show the error on the computer, even after paper has been loaded and the only way to clear the error on the computer is to reboot everything.

First try printing a test page on the printer itself, follow this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=73vM6pGoMZY

If the test page prints, the issue lies with the computer, follow the instructions below, these instructions assume you are connected via network and not USB.

Do the following on your computer:

Go to Control Panel and then right click on "devices and printers" and select open from the drop down menu. Then right click on the icon for your printer and select "printer properties" from the drop down menu. Click on the ports tab and see which port is check marked. If it is a WSD port then that is likely where the problem is and you are going to want to change the port type to a standard TCP/IP port.
