Product: Samsung SL-M2885FW
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This printer is doing fine, no problem with any function (i do not use fax). The printer is making a deliberate sound (like beep hello) whenever it is about to do something, print, scan , copy etc.

I am unable to turn that off. The sound entries in the printer configuration are all turned off (most are fax related).

How to silence the printer?

The only way to do this would be to open the printer up and disconnect the speaker.

Thanks,  That is what i thought as well , but that would be a rather drastic solution. 😞
