Hi,

Is it OK to turn the machine on and off instead of using Power Saving/Sleep mode? I don't print every day. I've heard that this can waste toner.

Add advice appreciated,

Dev

If you leave your printer in sleep mode it will by itself wake up from time to time, and do some checkup and rotation, calibration that might waste some minimum amount of toner. If you turn your printer OFF then you are fine unless you are turning it on/of like 5 times a day.

In both cases, some minimum amount of toner is wasted.
