Hi,
My samsung printer scx-4623f can only print one page by one page. By that I mean, every page I print, I need to get the tray out and put in only one piece of paper. Then print. Then get the tray out and put in the next piece of paper..........Imagine I need to print 40 pages report:womanembarrassed:
The error shows paper jam inside the machine. If I put in more than 1 piece of paper, no matter I need to print just 1 page or I need to print more than one. It will definitely jam at the same place. When I pull out the toner, I can see the first page already gone through the toner and half is at the exit. The second would be always stopped in the same place which is just a couple of centimetres behind the first page and they are totally seperate. And half of the second would be just under the toner. The other half still in the tray ready to get out.
I normally use recyled paper. But I tried good quality brand new A4 paper, the result is the same. I replaced the toner with compatible toner before, but I tried genuin toner as well. The result still the same.
I am wondering how to avoid that jam. I know how to get the jam paper out but I don't want to do it repeatly. I just want to print a lot of pages normally without pulling out the paper tray.
Would you please kindly help! Thank you so much!!

This video will show you on a very similar model how to fix this issue.

Your printer will have the main electronics that needs to be removed prior to removing main drive assembly. Greasing of gears is not highly recommended, a small amount of grease is OK, but not a lot.
Unfortunately audio is not in English, but the pictures says a thousand words.

I will try to assist. It sounds like the paper feed clutch is sticky and needs to be cleaned or replaced. This is what normally happens on these models.I would suggest to take it to a repair shop to solve the problem.Hope this will help.

Thank you for your help.
I viewed the youtube video you showed me and also watched similar ones. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LtJbJw6m34I https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KvXO8MymNh0&t=213s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tq7hudB3xz4&t=216s
I opened my printer and found the solenoid these videos talked about. However, different from the video, my solenoid was very bright clean and already with little foam pad stick to where these videos suggested to place. Then I don't know what to do next, but just put some oil on the gears I saw. And then I have to put all the parts back together. But the good news is it worked! It can print more pages now!!! I am so glad!
Thank you so much again!!!
