I have been reading everything about all scanner problems and it must have happening something in that HP Smart App.

I can scan from the common HP Scanning software -- but the quality is not as good as in HP Smart.

Is there a chance that HP Smart will be updated. Is there an old version to get somewhere?

I can see that HP Easy Start Printer Setup Software and HP Print and Scan Doctor has been updaten 29 october, and that didn't help at all. If we just get to know that some update will come soon we maybe could sit still and wait!!

Thank you, but that wasn't what I asked for. I had the full software installed already and I know that I could do those settings for the quality. Maybe I have get spoiled of the good quality in HP Smart. Thank you for trying. I better lay back and wait for a new firmware, drivers or HP Smart.
