Product: HP Officejet Pro 8718
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello.  When scanning or photocopying on my OfficeJet Pro 8718 it makes like a grinding / scratching noise.  I have done the following:

 

1)  Taking the cartridges out and re-seated them

2)  Updated the firmware

3)  Check for any paper jams

4)  Reset the printer entirely to factory reset.

 

Have done the above 4 steps the problem has not gone away.  It does not do it when printing, just when copying and scanning.

 

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
