Hi,

 

I cannot scan from my computer. HP Scan says "HP Imaging-Device not found". I've installed the drivers, software solution (scan & MFP).

 

The printer is connected via Network, when I search the network the printer doesn't get found automatically, I have to manually type the IP adress. After the "initialization" the scan software says "Software is installed and device is connected" but when I restart the software I stuck in a loop.

 

The device is not found by my computer under "Device Manager" (windows). There is no "Imaging Device" section.

 

The "HP Doctor" software didn't help.

 

Printing is no problem.

HP EWS is no problem

Scanning is no problem with network shared folders or to USB

Thank you, I did the settings but it didn't helped.

 

Still "imaging device not found" error.

 

A driver cleaning tool from HP would be very nice.. but yeah, I will never understand why companies fill your system with rubbish and don't provide a proper cleaning tool. Especially in the enterprise section.

Thank you, I did get exactly this link from the HP support today. But this is a big mess for admins, because I never know if there is a update and can't check on a web page. Maybe I have to bother the HP support every day if there is a update until they provide a good solution.
