I own two HP printers, a Color LaserJet CP2025dn and LaserJet M1536dnf MFP. Both printers are connected to a D-Link switch via ethernet. The HP Smart app shows the M1536dnf MFP printer as "ready," but displays "printer status unknown" for the CP2025dn printer. I think this is because the HP Print and Scan Doctor 5.7.4 app shows "Wrong printer port configured" for the Color LaserJet CP2025dn printer and hangs on the "Port Match" check for quite a while. Eventually, the app shows "Some issues were found and fixed with your product." But, the HP Smart app still does not recognize the CP2025dn printer - showing "Printer status unknown." The net result is I cannot print to my Color LaserJet CP2025dn printer from my tablet or phone, but I can print to the LaserJet M1536dnf MFP printer from both devices.

 

I'm open to suggestions on how to resolve this dilemma.
