HP Recommended
Product: HP Color LaserJet Enterprise MFP M776dn
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm trying to understand if I have the most current version of HP Scan Twain.

The program itself doesn't appear to have a place were it tells you what version it is.

 

Here's what Windows tells me:

Here's what the HP's website says,

Why would they be different?  Why wouldn't the app show the version?

Is the extra "4" in Windows just sloppy programming?
